Schnabel Engineering is hiring an Entry-Level (Staff) Engineer in Knoxville, Tennessee to support geotechnical field and analytical work. Responsibilities include using GIS and GPS, logging test borings, overseeing subcontractors, preparing AutoCAD and GIS plans, assigning laboratory tests, performing calculations, supporting geotechnical reports and proposals, observing construction, coordinating field testing, and preparing and reviewing reports. The role requires 0–2 years of relevant professional experience, a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, geology, or a related field, field and travel capability, and a valid U.S. driver’s license. Preferred qualifications include prior related internship or professional experience, a master’s degree, and EIT certification. Compensation is $62,400 to $86,000.
