Schnabel Engineering is hiring an Entry-Level (Staff) Tunnel Engineer for its Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania office. The role supports the planning, design, inspection, and construction management of tunnel and underground geostructural, geotechnical, rehabilitation, and structural projects; performs calculations and prepares design documents; and collaborates with multidisciplinary teams. Candidates need a civil engineering degree or equivalent experience, 0–2 years of relevant professional experience, AutoCAD familiarity, and the ability to travel and work in the field. Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree, EIT completion, and experience with tunnel or underground projects and related software. The compensation range is $62,400 to $86,000.
