Simpson Gumpertz & Heger is hiring an Associate Project Consultant for its Engineering Mechanics and Infrastructure team. The role performs structural analyses, designs and repairs structures, conducts finite-element analyses with Abaqus and ANSYS, prepares engineering reports and drawings, reviews project-team work, and supports field inspections and laboratory work. Candidates need 0–2 years of structural engineering or engineering mechanics experience, a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline, FEA experience preferred, and the ability to obtain PE or SE registration within five years. The position offers a base salary of $79,560–$85,280 depending on degree, health, dental, and vision insurance, and a $5,000 sign-on bonus.
