Simpson Gumpertz & Heger is hiring an Associate Project Consultant for its Engineering Mechanics and Infrastructure team in Atlanta. The role performs structural analyses, designs and repairs structures under extreme dynamic loads, conducts finite-element analyses with Abaqus and ANSYS, prepares engineering documents, reviews project-team work, and performs field inspections. Candidates need 0–5 years of structural engineering or engineering mechanics experience, a relevant master’s degree, familiarity with building design codes, and the ability to obtain PE or SE registration within five years. The position offers a base salary of $79,560–$85,280 depending on degree, health and other benefits, and a $5,000 sign-on bonus.
