LaBella Associates is hiring an entry-level Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) Technician for offices in Rochester, Buffalo, Syracuse, or Ithaca, New York. The role assists with locating, mapping, surveying, and documenting underground utility systems for land surveying and multidisciplinary projects. Duties include field investigations, operating electromagnetic locating and Ground Penetrating Radar equipment with training, collecting and organizing field data, preparing notes and reports, supporting deliverable reviews, maintaining equipment, coordinating with project teams, and following field safety procedures. The position pays $24.00–$30.00 per hour and prefers technical postsecondary education, though candidates with a high school diploma and relevant interest may be considered.
