Description
Agnico Eagle is hiring an Environmental Co-op Student to join its Environment and Sustainability team at the Detour Lake Mine. Reporting to the Environment Supervisor, the student will assist with field sample collection, sample management, data interpretation, annual monitoring reports, trend analysis, data entry, and environmental management system documentation. The role requires an Environmental Science or Engineering student, computer and Microsoft Office skills, data visualization, QA/QC knowledge, and the ability to work in cold-weather field conditions. It follows a 14/14 schedule, provides on-site accommodations and meals, and includes transportation and possible travel expense support.
