Description

MEXL is hiring a full-time Environmental Impact Assessment Specialist to prepare environmental impact assessments (MKB), strategic environmental assessments (SMB), supporting documentation, detailed development plans, and permit applications for community-development projects. The role involves coordinating project resources, communicating with municipalities, developers, housing companies, private individuals, and government agencies, and is based in Gothenburg, Uddevalla, or Stockholm. Candidates need a relevant degree, at least five years of experience including assignment management, experience preparing environmental documentation and permit applications, knowledge of PBL and MB, GIS and map-analysis skills, and a Category B driver's license.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: College or university degree in a relevant field

At least one environmental impact assessment for a detailed development plan that became legally binding within the last 3 years
Preferred Qualifications: Background as a biologist or experience working with ecosystem services
Established contacts with government agencies, such as the County Administrative Board
