Adler and Allan is hiring a permanent, full-time Environmental Design Engineer to work from home with regular travel across the United Kingdom. The role covers environmental infrastructure design, including drainage, containment, telemetry, and environmental protection systems, from feasibility through detailed delivery. Responsibilities include producing engineering drawings, calculations, specifications, risk assessments, and handover documentation; ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and standards; coordinating technical inputs; supporting design reviews; and improving design standards and processes. The position requires an HNC/HND or degree in environmental, mechanical, or related engineering, relevant industry experience, and knowledge of engineering design standards and legislation; AutoCAD or similar CAD experience is desirable.
