Description
The Environmental Protection Specialist will support SLAC’s environmental protection and regulatory compliance programs across industrial wastewater, stormwater, air quality, SPCC, tiered permitting, NEPA, pollution prevention, remediation, and related areas. The role involves interpreting regulations, developing compliance procedures and training materials, analyzing data, preparing reports, investigating incidents, conducting compliance inspections and occasional field sampling, and providing technical advice to site personnel. It requires a bachelor’s degree in a related scientific or engineering field, three years of progressively responsible experience, and a valid California non-commercial Class C driver’s license.
