Description
Sylvamo is hiring an Environmental Engineer to support the Ticonderoga Mill in achieving 100% environmental-regulatory compliance, obtaining permits, administering environmental management systems, overseeing RCRA and water-related compliance, supporting environmental technologies and process improvements, and educating employees and the community. The role reports to the Environment, Health & Safety Manager, is part of a team of four Environmental Engineers, and includes a six-week EH&S weekend-duty rotation. A bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field and at least three years of environmental experience in heavy industrial or mill manufacturing are required; New York State Department of Conservation expertise is preferred. The base salary is $94,900 to $120,200 per year, with medical, dental, vision, retirement, and other benefits.
