Description
The New York City Department of Environmental Protection is hiring an Environmental Engineer Intern within the Division of Capital Program Management, Distribution & Drainage section. The intern will support stormwater management, drainage infrastructure, sewer systems, environmental compliance, water quality, and resiliency projects through engineering analyses, data collection and evaluation, technical reporting, design review, modeling, GIS mapping, field investigations, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders. The position requires a relevant baccalaureate degree or an environmental engineering technology degree with two years of full-time satisfactory experience, and applicants must have taken Civil Service Exam No. 6118.
