The role covers project scoping, budgets, teams, contracts, finances, deliverables, remediation design, field oversight, health and safety, regulatory interactions, client communication, proposal development, and mentorship of junior staff. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in environmental or civil engineering, at least seven years of environmental or engineering consulting experience, a California Civil Engineering PE, HAZWOPER certification, remediation design experience, and proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or ArcGIS.
