Doe Run is hiring an Environmental Engineer/Scientist for its Buick Resource Recycling Division in Boss, Missouri. The role supports environmental compliance as a subject matter expert, coordinates projects with EHS and operations staff, obtains environmental permits, prepares permit applications and facility plans, interacts with regulators, monitors emerging regulations, and develops training and compliance procedures. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or a related field, environmental permitting and compliance experience, regulatory research, technical writing, project management, computer skills, and a valid driver’s license; AutoCAD and budgeting experience are preferred. The work includes outdoor, underground mining, confined-space, and office activities, with frequent driving and occasional lifting of up to five pounds.
