Description
Agnico Eagle is hiring a Technical Lead, Environmental Management for its Detour Lake Mine. Reporting to the Environment and Sustainability Superintendent, the role leads environmental management across the site, develops and audits the Environmental Management System, supports regulatory compliance, coordinates consultants and research groups, monitors environmental impacts, and advises on adaptive management and incident investigations. The position requires a university degree in environmental engineering, science, or a related discipline, 10 years of progressive mining environmental experience, 5 years of supervisory experience, and knowledge of Canadian and Ontario mining legislation. The schedule is 4/3 at the mine site, with accommodations and meals provided.
