Description
Haemonetics is seeking an environmental, health, and safety professional to manage site HSE compliance and programs in a manufacturing environment. The role liaises with regulatory authorities, supports contractor safety and facilities maintenance, leads safety committees, conducts ergonomic and workplace inspections, delivers employee training, contributes to incident investigations, maintains compliance records and permits, manages hazardous and other waste activities, monitors HSE performance indicators, supports equipment safety reviews and preventive maintenance, and helps maintain the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System. A degree in environmental science, safety, or an equivalent field is required, with at least two years of manufacturing or equivalent experience; Safety and Health Officer, Ergonomics Trained Person, and scheduled-waste management competencies are preferred or required as stated.
