Georgia-Pacific is hiring an Environmental Manager to lead environmental programs at its Port Hudson Mill in Zachary, Louisiana. The role partners with operations, maintenance, engineering, and reliability teams to manage air, wastewater, stormwater, hazardous and non-hazardous waste, chemical reporting, landfill, and environmental management system activities; serves as the primary liaison with regulatory agencies; leads audits, risk assessments, compliance reporting, and continuous improvement; and provides environmental guidance for capital and operational projects. Candidates need environmental science or engineering experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting, supervisory experience, and experience with environmental regulations, permits, audits, risk assessments, and corrective actions.
