HGL is hiring an Environmental Program Manager I to support the EPA Director and CLIN 2 Program Manager in leading EPA contracts and projects across EPA Region 6. The role oversees project teams, monitors delivery and compliance, mentors staff, manages client and stakeholder relationships, supports EPA-related proposals and business development, and contributes to process improvement. The position is primarily remote with occasional travel, with a hybrid option for candidates within commuting distance of an HGL office, and requires a bachelor’s degree, at least 15 years of experience including 5 years managing large government contracts and multi-disciplinary teams, and EPA Region 6 client experience. The annual salary is $107,830–$167,137, and the role requires U.S. citizenship because it supports a U.S. federal government contract.
