Burns & McDonnell is hiring an Environmental Project Manager to lead multiple environmental permitting and due diligence projects in the Midwest Region, with work spanning development and construction projects across the U.S. in sectors such as electric, renewables, and oil and gas. The role combines project management, regulatory coordination with federal, state, and local agencies, client relationship management, business development, and technical expertise in ecological sciences and environmental permitting topics such as wetlands, endangered species, cultural resources, and Clean Water Act / Rivers and Harbors Act compliance. The position requires at least 7 years of relevant experience (10 preferred), a B.S. or M.S. in an environmental or engineering field preferred, and includes mentoring junior staff, preparing proposals and cost estimates, publishing technical papers, and presenting at conferences.
