The Laredo District is hiring an Environmental Project Planner to support transportation planning and development projects through State environmental requirements and the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) process. The role coordinates with project managers, engineers, regulatory agencies, special interest groups, consultants, and the public; prepares environmental schedules, reports, technical analyses, studies, and assessments; conducts or coordinates field surveys and public involvement activities; and reviews or approves consultant work. The position is based in Laredo, Texas, requires a bachelor's degree or related experience, a valid US driver's license, and may require driving a state vehicle. ENV Project Planner I requires no experience, while ENV Project Planner II requires three years of relevant experience.
