Description
The position is responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and attractive hospital environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Duties include cleaning and disinfecting patient rooms, isolation rooms, offices, public areas, restrooms, furniture, floors, equipment, and other hospital surfaces; performing terminal and discharge cleaning; handling spills, body fluids, infectious and recyclable waste; replenishing supplies; transporting beds and furniture; using PPE and infection-control procedures; reporting hazards and repairs; and following hospital policies, safety plans, attendance requirements, and Sodexo Shine environmental-services procedures. The posting requires less than a high school education, up to one month of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination.
