Description
The Housekeeping Aid Supervisor provides technical and administrative supervision of subordinate housekeeping workers at the Eugene J. Towbin Healthcare Center in the Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System. Responsibilities include assigning and scheduling staff, coordinating with other services, cleaning patient areas and corridors, training employees, controlling supplies and equipment, conducting safety and equipment testing, managing textile distribution, approving leave, counseling employees, and evaluating performance. The position works Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., subject to facility needs, and requires U.S. citizenship, background and security investigation, a pre-employment physical, and seasonal influenza vaccination. No specific length of training or experience is required, but applicants must demonstrate sufficient knowledge, skills, and ability to perform the duties.
