Description
Under direct supervision of the Housekeeping/Environmental Services manager at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital, the Environmental Services/Housekeeping worker performs routine and specialized cleaning and sanitizing in assigned hospital areas, handles municipal, recyclable, and regulated medical waste in compliance with regulations, and safely transports furniture, equipment, and other hospital items. The role requires English communication and literacy, basic computer skills, operation of standard cleaning equipment, multitasking in a fast-paced environment, and effective teamwork with patients, visitors, and healthcare staff.
