Description
The Environmental Service Worker I maintains clean, safe, and welcoming hospital areas by cleaning, sanitizing, floor-caring, restocking supplies, handling biohazardous materials, operating cleaning equipment, and assisting with minor repairs. The role requires infection-control and safety knowledge, attention to detail, communication skills, and the physical ability to perform repetitive tasks and lift objects; 1–2 years of cleaning or environmental service experience is preferred. Indiana, Mississippi, and North Carolina require completion of an assigned SAMA course within 30 days of hire.
