Description
The Environmental Specialist serves as the technical expert for environmental compliance under the EHS Manager, focusing on air permitting, emissions monitoring, reporting, recordkeeping, and continuous improvement. The role manages air, water, and solid waste programs; prepares regulatory reports and permits; analyzes emissions data; supports environmental assessments and hazardous materials programs; conducts audits and training; and tracks regulatory changes. A bachelor’s degree in environmental health and safety or a related discipline is preferred, and at least five years of experience in environmental, health, and safety or a related field is required.
