Description
Essel is hiring an Environmental Superintendent to oversee environmental remediation projects from planning through completion. The role supervises daily field operations, project teams, subcontractors, and vendors; manages schedules, budgets, documentation, inspections, quality control, and safety protocols; ensures compliance with OSHA, EPA, HAZWOPER, and other environmental and safety regulations; and collaborates with project managers, engineers, and clients. Applicants need 8–10 years of environmental remediation project oversight experience, leadership and organizational skills, technical-document interpretation ability, Microsoft Office and project-management tool proficiency, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to travel. A bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
