Description

AMGEN Capability Center Portugal is seeking an Environmental Sustainability Specialist to join their team. This role involves coordinating the collection, validation, and management of environmental sustainability data globally, supporting scope 3 emissions reporting, driving stakeholder engagement, improving sustainability processes, ensuring data quality, and contributing to various sustainability initiatives. The specialist will partner with internal stakeholders and external suppliers across multiple countries.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: 2 years of experience in Environmental Sustainability or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Sustainability or another related discipline.
Experience working with greenhouse gas emissions (particularly Scope 3), ESG reporting, sustainability reporting or environmental compliance.
Knowledge of Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), carbon accounting or environmental reporting frameworks.
Good knowledge of Excel; familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, Python or SQL would be considered an advantage but is not essential.
Curiosity, critical thinking and a proactive mindset with a continuous improvement approach.
