Description
The WM Landfill Gas Technician I operates and maintains landfill gas collection and control systems, including wells, piping, pumps, blowers, data-collection devices, and flares. The role performs calibration, data entry, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, valve and vacuum adjustments, and on-call response to system malfunctions while complying with environmental regulations and safety requirements. No prior experience is required, but a valid unrestricted driver’s license is required; environmental, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, piping, data-logging, and computer-data-entry experience are preferred.
