Description
Howmet Whitehall is hiring an Environmental Health and Safety Engineer to support wastewater and stormwater operations, reporting, and regulatory compliance. The role manages environmental issues, permits, records, training, contractor programs, and process changes; leads cross-functional environmental improvement projects; and spends up to 75% of the time on environmental projects. The position requires a bachelor’s degree, three years of environmental experience in manufacturing or a similar environment, and experience supporting health and safety programs. Five years of environmental experience, wastewater and stormwater expertise, relevant operator certifications, and technical reporting and regulatory knowledge are preferred.
