Description
Harris County Public Health is hiring a full-time EPH Investigator, Pool to inspect, permit, reinspect, and investigate complaints for public swimming pools, spas, artificial swimming lagoons, and interactive water features. The role conducts water-quality sampling, maintains records, gathers evidence for court action, and provides testimony as needed. It is a fieldwork and office position based in Houston, requiring a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid Texas driver's license, and the ability to obtain a Certified Pool Operator license within 18 months; the position works Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with occasional additional hours.
