Vertex is hiring a Director, Epidemiology Forecasting to lead systematic literature reviews, database and disease-registry studies, and primary observational research that produce scientifically rigorous global estimates of disease incidence, prevalence, and population size. The role supports commercial opportunity, clinical trial planning, long-range planning, regulatory filings, and external communications while collaborating across cross-functional teams. Candidates need a PhD, DSc, or DrPH in epidemiology or a related discipline with at least 10 years of biopharmaceutical or consulting experience, or an MPH/MSc with at least 12 years of experience. The position offers a base salary of $204,200–$306,200, annual bonus and equity eligibility, and remote, hybrid, or on-site work arrangements.
