The Edmonton Public Library is hiring a branch manager for its Woodcroft branch. The role manages 30 full-time and part-time staff, oversees the branch facility, collections, and services, provides customer service, leads projects, mentors staff, and builds community connections. The position requires a Master of Library and Information Science degree from an ALA-accredited library school, at least two years of professional library experience, and three years of supervisory or directly related experience, with an alternative path involving a relevant undergraduate degree, seven years of related management experience, and a commitment to complete a Master of Library Information Studies degree within five years. The role is 35 hours per week and pays $112,782 to $140,974 per annum.
