Description
Kalmbach Feeds is hiring a full-time Equine Barn Assistant to support the daily care of equines in an animal production and nutrition research setting. The role includes feeding, watering, turnout, horse handling, stall cleaning, barn upkeep, and maintaining records for animal weight, feed intake, and health. The position requires weekend and holiday work, a GED or high school diploma, strong communication and analytical skills, the ability to stand for long periods and lift 50 pounds, and past leadership or supervisory experience; previous equine or farm experience is preferred but not required.
