Description

Montana State University is hiring one Equine Instructor/Assistant Foreman to oversee equine resources, facilities, finances, and student training; teach horsemanship and colt-starting courses; assess and care for horses; schedule arena use; support faculty and livestock operations; develop a competitive Collegiate Ranch and Stock Horse Team; and engage with regional equine partners. The role is a non-tenure-track contract, 1.0 FTE, with a BS in Animal or Equine Sciences or equivalent experience, equitation-teaching experience, and experience with equine handling, behavior, husbandry, and agricultural equipment.
