Description
Micron is hiring a full-time Equipment Engineer II to support chemical mechanical polishing (CMP) operations in its 300mm semiconductor manufacturing facility in Manassas, Virginia. The role maintains, troubleshoots, and optimizes CMP equipment; supports installations, qualifications, upgrades, and process integration; improves uptime, reliability, throughput, and yield; leads continuous improvement and cost-reduction projects; analyzes equipment and process data; develops maintenance procedures; partners with vendors and sister sites; and provides technical leadership and training. The position requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering or technical field or equivalent semiconductor industry experience, semiconductor manufacturing or advanced equipment engineering experience, and expertise with SPC, FDC, statistical analysis, and data-driven decision-making.
