Description
The Equipment Engineer will lead and support a semiconductor equipment team by maintaining tool availability, developing preventive maintenance programs, troubleshooting equipment failures, managing spare parts and new equipment installation, coordinating with suppliers and cross-functional teams, and leading technicians through complex repairs. The role requires at least eight years of experience with wafer-processing equipment, knowledge of semiconductor processes and vacuum systems, clean-room work, and the ability to support a 24/7 operation with domestic and international travel as needed.
