Description
Lumentum is hiring an Equipment Engineer/Equipment Technician for its wafer fabrication and epitaxy facility in Caswell, Northamptonshire. The role provides first-line technical support, fault diagnosis, repair, preventative maintenance, and optimization of semiconductor process equipment and associated gas, exhaust, and abatement systems on a continental shift pattern. It requires electrical or mechanical engineering training or equivalent relevant experience, strong electro-mechanical troubleshooting skills, safe handling of hazardous gases and chemicals, documentation, teamwork, cleanroom work, SCBA fitness, a UK work permit, and a full UK driving licence with access to transport.
