Description
The Heavy Equipment Operator will operate excavators, bulldozers, backhoes, compactors, articulated dump trucks, and front-end loaders to excavate, move, grade, and level earth, with most work associated with environmental contamination. The role includes following safety regulations, locating underground utilities, coordinating with crew members, performing minor equipment repairs, and traveling to project sites. Applicants need a high school diploma or GED, at least five years of equipment-operator experience, equipment-specific training and certification, and the ability to work up to 100% of a shift. The Washington salary range is $35–$45 USD, with employment contingent on background and drug screening.
