Description
The Equipment Operator is responsible for safely and productively operating backhoes, dozers, hoe rams, boom trucks, and specialty trucks in specialty contract areas such as gas-pipeline or fiber-optics work. The role includes excavating around utilities, inspecting and positioning equipment, performing daily maintenance, maintaining records, assisting with manual work, and following safety, OSHA, and DOT requirements. Applicants need a high school diploma or equivalent, technical equipment-training experience, at least two years of experience, a valid driver’s license, and a DC 7B Operator’s License.
