Description
The Equipment Operator moves goods throughout a warehouse by operating forklifts, reach trucks, order pickers, and other material-handling equipment; loads and unloads delivery trucks; assists with inventory control; inspects equipment; and maintains safe, organized work areas. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, prior warehouse equipment experience, forklift certification or willingness to obtain it, warehouse operations knowledge, WMS or inventory-tracking ability, teamwork, attention to detail, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
