DIS-TRAN Steel is hiring an Equipment Operator in Pineville, Louisiana. The role operates forklifts and related material-handling equipment, loads and moves materials, performs basic operator maintenance, inspects equipment, follows safety procedures, and interprets reports and schedules. Prior forklift experience in an industrial manufacturing facility is required, while material-handling, banding, palletizing, truck-loading, and machinery-certification experience is preferred. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, and the applicant must complete on-site training and demonstrate safe machinery operation.
