Description
The Equipment Operator I supports county road, bridge, park, and right-of-way maintenance by operating light and heavy equipment, performing traffic control, conducting vehicle and equipment inspections, and completing construction and repair work such as paving, patching, clearing debris, installing signs and guard rails, and repairing drainage. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, one year of relevant construction or equipment experience, a valid state driver’s license, and the ability to work outdoors in variable conditions, including weekends or emergencies.
