Description
The Equipment Operator/ Laborer performs highway maintenance duties, including operating trucks, tractors, loaders, sweepers, trenchers, and other maintenance equipment; mowing, snow and ice removal, road repairs, debris cleanup, traffic control, vehicle and equipment maintenance, and customer service. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, forklift certification, CPR certification, previous snow plow experience, highway maintenance knowledge, welding, bucket truck, back hoe, and forklift certificates, a valid CDL with air-brake and tanker endorsement, and the ability to use hand tools and operate highway maintenance equipment. It is not eligible for remote or hybrid work and requires frequent physical effort, outdoor exposure, and travel up to 20%.
