Description
The Operating Room Equipment Technician anticipates procedural needs, maintains and repairs operating-room and specialty equipment, verifies disinfection, storage, and preventive maintenance, processes endoscopes, and coordinates with department and outside vendors. The role reports to OR management, requires a high school diploma or equivalent, BLS certification, sterile-environment knowledge, and the ability to work flexible hours; healthcare and operating-room experience are preferred. It is a full-time, nonexempt position with an 80-hour schedule and medical, dental, vision, savings, and retirement benefits.
