Description
The Emergency Room Technician provides per-diem support in the emergency department by assisting with patient activities of daily living, basic nursing care, vital signs, transfers, registration, specimen collection, wound care, monitoring, equipment checks, infection control, and patient transport. The role requires current EMT and BLS certification, with high school graduation and English communication skills preferred. The technician works under the supervision of the ED Manager, Assistant Manager, and on-duty registered nurses and must maintain required certifications and complete annual competency requirements.
