The Escrow Officer manages real estate transactions from contract review through closing, verifying paperwork, coordinating with agents, lenders, attorneys, surveyors, and government agencies, resolving issues, and ensuring funds and property change hands only after all terms are completed. The role requires local travel for off-site closings and client meetings, along with two to three years of experience in escrow, real estate, mortgage, banking, insurance, legal support, or similar transaction-heavy roles, plus notary public and escrow officer licenses.
