Description
The ESD Assistant cleans, maintains, and services assigned areas or tasks in hospital facilities under the direct leadership of a supervisor. Responsibilities include intensive floor care, carpet and furniture care, trash and recyclable-material disposal, restroom and surface cleaning, bed and medical-equipment care, curtain and drapery changes, equipment operation, supply replenishment, regulated medical-waste handling, and emergency response. The role requires applicants to be at least 18 years old, perform physical work involving lifting, bending, reaching, and pushing or pulling heavy equipment, and respond appropriately to patients, visitors, and instructions.
