Description
The Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator works under supervision to operate and maintain a wastewater treatment plant, including chemical dosing, equipment and pump maintenance, laboratory sampling and testing, sludge conditioning, safety inspections, recordkeeping, and shift coordination. The role reports to the ESO Shift Manager and requires a high school diploma or GED, Class D Wastewater Operator certification within two years of trainee registration, and a valid state driver’s license.
