Description
The Estimating Intern supports the Estimating Department by preparing cost estimates for new or existing construction projects. Responsibilities include reviewing plans and specifications, completing quantity takeoffs, soliciting subcontractor and supplier quotes, preparing project maps and exhibits, analyzing budgets and prices, reviewing cost estimates, identifying labor and material requirements, conducting risk assessments, and participating in estimate coordination meetings. The internship is paid, offers raises for returning interns, provides travel or mileage reimbursement, monthly living stipends for qualifying students, and flexible summer dates.
