Description
Strescon Limited is hiring an Estimating Manager to lead and mentor the Estimating team while also performing hands-on estimating for precast and prestressed concrete projects. The role involves preparing and reviewing bids, drawings, specifications, material take-offs, change-notice estimates, and cost analyses for labor, materials, and timelines, while improving estimating processes and collaborating with Sales, Operations, Engineering, Field, Purchasing, Finance, subcontractors, and vendors. The position is based at the Saint John office and supports operations in Saint John and Bedford, New Brunswick. A bachelor’s degree or college diploma in engineering, engineering technology, or a similar field, at least five years of estimating experience, construction/concrete industry experience, and team-management experience are required or strongly indicated.
