Description
The Estimator forecasts construction project costs by analyzing plans, specifications, and documentation; preparing estimates for materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor services; collaborating with project managers, engineers, and suppliers; maintaining cost databases; presenting estimates; identifying risks and cost-saving opportunities; and supporting bid preparation and submission. The role requires construction or related industry estimating experience, knowledge of construction methods and standards, estimation software and Microsoft Office proficiency, and strong analytical, mathematical, and organizational skills. Preferred qualifications include negotiation and communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
